Delores Maybach, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Delores Maybach is an American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) certified Family Nurse Practitioner, who relocated to the Treasure Valley in 2017. Dee started in healthcare as an Emergency Medical Technician in San Antonio, Texas in 1998. In 2003, she completed her Associate of Nursing Science, and became a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2004.
As a RN, Delores worked at Emergency Departments in suburban locations, inner city/downtown core areas and in rural community settings – both in Texas and Virginia. Her roles as a RN included staff nurse, charge nurse, resource nurse, preceptor, and nurse manager. In 2005, she participated in the relief efforts for those displaced by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. In 2010, she received a Honor’s degree with Distinction for completion of her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In 2012, she earned her first Masters degree in Science in Nursing (MSN), specializing in Executive Nursing/Nursing Administration; in 2017, she completed her second Masters degree in Advanced Practice Nursing, where she specialized in Family Nurse Practitioner and earned Honors with Distinction.
Adopting Idaho as their new home, Dee and her husband moved to Treasure Valley in July 2017. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, trying new recipes, metalsmithing, road trips, and discovering the outdoors. She and her husband are looking forward to fishing, hunting, skiing, ATV riding, and exploring all the Gem state has to offer. She is also excited to learn speed flying and paragliding from her husband, an experienced paramotoring/powered paragliding pilot.
