Unvaccinated comprise 99% of all COVID deaths and hospitalizations in Idaho

When unvaccinated Idahoans comprise 99% of all COVID deaths and hospitalizations in our state, when gasping unvaccinated patients awaiting intubation in the ICU say “now I want the vaccine”, when doctors have to say “too late – you missed your chance to avoid this”, it is BEYOND time to just……get……the…..vaccine. 

Exercising constitutional liberty and freedom does not necessitate taking unwise actions; you have the liberty to do a wide range of activities like riding a Harley without a helmet, but if you lay the bike down going 70 mph your brain will likely squish like a pumpkin from a corn maze canon shot.

Reasons for not receiving the vaccine are many, including the notion that this is not even COVID causing the pandemic, rather it is Legionnaire’s disease “caused by mask use”. Only half of Idahoans are fully vaccinated and the stats are mind boggling. In 2021, 99% of COVID hospitalizations and 99% of COVID deaths occurred in people who refused their readily available vaccine. The case fatality rate is over 1% and many patients become long haulers with chronic symptoms.
